Almost done!!!

This is the living room, which will stay empty for now, as the furnishing of it is the next stage in a few months.

Then there is the dining room, family room, master bath (see the crown moulding!) and the guest bedroom where our family and friends can stay when they come to visit (promise to have sheets by then :) )
We have wood floors in the living room and dining room!!  Now we are just waiting on our master bedroom furniture and some finishing touches on details (have the family room is painted) and we are done with renovations (for now)!!!  I am still in awe of our home.  We are so blessed and really can't wait for everyone to see it completed.  We are also blessed by everyone who has helped out, especially our family.

More pictures

These are pictures of the living room, stairs, kitchen (as taken from family room), finished family room, and the long view of the master bedroom.  Some are from before we moved in and others are as it looks now, sort of...

Pictures of our New Home

This is the front of our new home, a guest bedroom, our bedroom (semi finished), family room and backyard.
We are moved in, but it is still a work in progress.  We are waiting on some new furniture, but are enjoying our new couches and kitchen table.
Tim mowed the lawn today, and I helped (I mowed the one side yard on the left).
Dad did all the painting upstairs, and will be doing the downstairs in the weeks to come.
Mom helped decorate, so everything is proper.
Tim's parents, brothers and future sister-in-law came over last night to do the big move of all the furniture upstairs and boxes into the appropriate rooms so we can continue unpacking.

Our new home

We bought our first "real" home on June 24, 2008. Real is defined as having our own backyard and being a freestanding home. I loved our townhome, which is now being rented by two really nice girls, but this is our HOME. This is the house where we plan to start a family. It's in the most beautiful neighborhood in Palm Beach Gardens. There are 28 homes, and I was informed yesterday that there are about 50 kids, which is right around that whole 2.2 kids per the average American family. Everyone has a dog, so that is the next project. Our neighbors are the nicest people, the one guy stopped by tonight to see if we needed anything from Publix, because he was running over there!!! We were already invited to a July 4th block party! Tim said we've moved to the suburbs -- which I never knew I moved out of them!!! I'm on my way to being a yuppie, I'm so excited...Range Rover or BMW here I come!!!
I'll have pictures of the house tomorrow.
